World Energy Council 2026 Tools/Studies: Usefulness for Romania

On Monday, 21 September 2026 at The National Technical Museum 'Prof. Eng. Dimitrie Leonida', Bucharest.
Some of the tools of the World Energy Council will be discussed: 'World Energy Scenarios,' 'World Energy Issues Monitor,' and the 'World Energy Trilemma Index' for 2026. The discussions will focus on the situation in Romania, especially in the context of current geopolitical, economic, and climate challenges, and aim to get competent feedback on these results regarding:
- The general framework of the 'WEC tool kit' and its usefulness for Romania;
- Romania's profile that determines the evaluation of the indices from the World Energy Council;
- Romania's position in the index ranking among European countries;
- Policies that have determined Romania's position in the European ranking in 2026, taking into account international influences and national decisions.
