Béatrice Buffon

Béatrice Buffon is EDF Group Senior Executive Vice-President in charge of the International Division. She is a member of the EDF Group Executive Committee as well as a member of the Boards of Directors of EDF Trading, Luminus and EDF Renewables.

She began her career in 2000 as Project Finance Manager at COGETHERM, a company specialized in the development of Combined Heat and Power gas projects. Then, as Project Director at SIIF Energies from 2002 to 2006, her activities focused on developing onshore wind and biomass projects, as well as offshore wind projects in France, Belgium and the United Kingdom. From 2007 to 2010, she undertook the functions of Deputy Executive Director of POWEO Renewable Energies, developing the activities of this independent electricity producer in the fields of wind and solar energies.

She joined EDF Renewables in 2010 as Director of Development for large-scale solar power projects and then became the Director of the Marine Renewable Energies division and a member of the EDF Renewables Executive Committee.

She is a graduate from the École Polytechnique and the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées. She is Chevalier de l'Ordre National Du Mérite, a distinction awarded by the President of France for distinguished civil and military achievements.
