National Member Committees

The World Energy Council’s strength is derived from its network of National Member Committees. These autonomous bodies are important organisations in their own countries, often enjoying the active support of the government and leading energy companies. Together they constitute the world’s most influential network of energy leaders and practitioners dedicated to promoting the sustainable supply and use of energy for the greatest benefit of all.

“I am very proud to be part of the World Energy Council, which plays such a prominent role in helping to shape the global energy agenda. Through its extensive global energy network of CEOs, ministers and energy experts from over 90 countries, the Council is able to facilitate dialogue and debate between public and private sector on critical energy issues. The World Energy Council’s influential flagship studies on crucial energy topics are respected the world over.” – Emily Melton, former Chief Operating Officer, World Energy Council
