Chief Financial Officer, Youth4Energy

Caio Rodrigues is the Financial Director of Youth4Energy, an NGO composed of more than 25 young people from different Latin American countries. In this role, he is responsible for transforming the potential of young leaders into concrete and sustainable impact within their communities by promoting multifocal dialogue on energy transition and democratic access to energy knowledge. His work focuses on strategic management, partnership prospecting, and fundraising for green projects. At Youth4Energy, Caio contributes to empowering and training the next generation of leaders in the energy sector. Through regional consultations, he supports the analysis of indicators and the evaluation of policies to ensure that resources are managed efficiently and with a long-term vision.

Caio also has extensive experience in organising forums and conferences focused on energy and climate change. He served as Vice President of Delegate Relations at the 2026 Student Energy Summit in Manaus, located in the heart of the Amazon. In this position, he ensured the participation of 160 attendees from more than 50 countries, creating opportunities for participants to present high-impact energy projects developed in their communities. Additionally, he contributed to strengthening networking among delegates and supported the development of pitches for hackathons held during the event.

Currently, Caio is leading the development of the Youth4Energy Champions Program, a regional scholarship initiative aimed at training specialized and employable young leaders capable of designing, implementing, and advocating for the energy systems of the future. The program seeks to provide targeted training, international visibility, and direct pathways to the job market across Latin America and the Caribbean.
