Chirag Tewani is an energy professional with over four years of experience in power sector operations, energy policy research, and sustainable transitions. At World Energy Council - India, he contributed to the India Energy Outlook and National Energy Trilemma Index 2024, focusing on Net Zero pathways, energy security, and decarbonisation. His expertise spans policy formulation, stakeholder engagement, and energy data analytics, supporting informed decision-making for a cleaner future.

Previously, he worked at GMR Kamalanga Energy Ltd., optimising coal-based power plant operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs. He has also contributed to research on technological advancements, renewable integration, and grid resilience.

Chi rag holds a PGDM in Energy Management from NTPC School of Business, India's only institution currently offering this specialised degree (as of now), and is pursuing a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Passionate about humanising energy, he is committed to advancing inclusive, people-centric energy solutions while driving impactful collaborations in the Future Energy Leaders Programme.
