David is a Senior Consultant with over six years of experience in the energy industry, working in consulting roles across Southeast and East Asia. He specialises in electricity market analysis, delivering market and economic insights to support developers and investors across the region, focusing in East Asia. Based in Bangkok, he advises stakeholders on the case for renewables expansion, drawing on experience from markets such as Great Britain. David has demonstrated leadership experience, addressing the challenges of integrating renewables into power systems by working with cross-functional teams to translate technical, regulatory, and market complexities into actionable insights that enable future‑proof, flexible, and decarbonised grids. Prior to his current role, David worked across engineering, electricity markets, and innovation to strengthen business cases and de‑risk projects in Great Britain and Europe, including advising on grid integration, policy development, and offshore wind commercialisation. David holds an MEng in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and was awarded a scholarship through the IET Power Academy programme.
