Elia Nauroz Ali

Application Research Engineer, SB Digital Software

Elia Nauroz Ali hails from the Hazara community (Quetta, Balochistan), where more than 300 sunny days and massive wind corridors cohabit with unaffordable energy resources. This stark divide inspired her to build technical expertise as an electrical engineer, further deepening competencies through a master`s in energy systems engineering. Elia excels in three intertwined domains. First- designing renewable energy systems & implementing thermal modelling validating achievable ghg mitigation with its economic viability. Second- leading high-impact scientific research; authoring technical and policy papers/articles (India); performing critical technical analysis; & providing policy consultations to governments (Australia). Lastly- executing strategic techno-policy analysis where currently, she is spearheading policy analysis of European markets, mapping renewable heat & storage solutions to residential & industrial sectors- supporting technology transition of sustainable energy through feasible project pathways that can deliver real-world impact. Honoured as one of twenty-one next-generation energy professionals globally in GWNET Women in Energy Storage mentorship programme and awarded as Young Energy Professional of the Year across seven South Asian countries by the Association of Energy Professionals, Elia remains devoted to promoting transitions of affordable energy access to communities globally.
