Emile Trévalinet

Strategy & Investment Analyst, EDF

At EDF’s Corporate Strategy Division, I develop long-term power and gas price scenarios to 2060 for markets across North America, the Middle East, and Europe. I integrate energy policies, geopolitical shifts, and market fundamentals into forward-looking models that create energy scenarios. These scenarios feed directly into investment dossiers for renewable projects, where I assess economic viability and present analyses to EDF’s Strategy Senior Vice President to support major international decisions. Previously, as an Energy Market Risk Manager, I designed risk models and market structures for power and gas portfolios, strengthening my expertise in wholesale market dynamics and hedging strategies. My academic background in energy, economics, and corporate finance from IFP School, the University of Melbourne, and ESTP underpins my quantitative analysis skills and my appetite for the energy sector. Finally, I am also actively involved in the World Energy Council France’s Young Energy Professionals Program, engaging with global energy policy discussions and expanding cross-sector networks.
