Gabriella Guinlle Ferreira de Oliveira Santos
Energy Markets & Policy Analyst, Erasmus Commodity & Trade Center

Gabriella Guinlle is an Energy Markets and Policy Analyst and Postdoctoral Researcher at the Erasmus Commodity & Trade Centre, specialising in hydrogen and the European energy transition. She has been part of FEL Netherlands since 2025 and is completing her PhD in Strategy and International Business at the University of Amsterdam. Her work examines the political and institutional dynamics shaping emerging low-carbon energy markets. Focusing on hydrogen, industrial decarbonization, and infrastructure development, she analyses how corporate strategies, regulatory frameworks, and financial instruments influence investment decisions, market formation, and cross-border trade. Her research highlights that the energy transition is not only a technological shift, but a coordination challenge involving firms, governments, civil society, ports, and financial actors. Gabriella combines qualitative research, policy analysis, and stakeholder engagement, collaborating with policymakers, industrial partners, and interdisciplinary research networks. She seeks to deepen international and cross-sector collaboration to support more coherent, evidence-based decision-making in energy markets and climate policy.
