Javier Contador Labbé is an electromobility professional and Industrial Civil Engineer from the University of Chile, holding an MSc in Engineering from École Centrale de Nantes in France. He currently serves as Electromobility Portfolio Coordinator at the Energy Sustainability Agency of Chile, direct partner of the Ministry of Energy, where he leads national initiatives accelerating the transition toward sustainable transport systems. With more than five years of experience, Javier has led multidisciplinary teams and implemented projects focused on charging infrastructure deployment, fleet electrification, micromobility, and public-private collaboration. His work combines strategic policy design with practical implementation, contributing to large-scale programs supported by international organizations such as the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and GIZ. Javier is particularly interested in connecting global energy transition strategies with real-world solutions in emerging economies. His professional motivation centers on enabling inclusive, scalable, and sustainable mobility solutions that improve quality of life while reducing emissions.
