Ing. Justice Ohene-Akoto is a multiple award-winning Ghanaian Professional Engineer and Researcher. He is Senior Advisor at JP Partners & Associates and a Board Member, Future Energy Leaders at the World Energy Council. He is a Research Fellow at Penn Sustainability, University of Pennsylvania. He was the Ariel Foundation International (AFI) representative at the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV).


Ing. Ohene-Akoto was crowned Rising Star in Ghana's Energy sector at the Ghana Energy Awards 2020. In the same year, he emerged a Forty Under 40 Achiever at the Forty Under 40 Awards 2020. In July, 2021, he won the Best Student Paper Award at the World Congress on Engineering 2021 held in London, United Kingdom. He is the National Vice-President of the World Energy Council's Future Energy Leaders Ghana (FEL Ghana) and a former Electrical Engineer at the Volta Aluminium Company Limited (VALCO).


As a former member of the Chamber of Independent Power Producers, Distributors and Bulk Consumers, Ghana, an industry player and researcher in the academia, he helps bridge the gap between these sectors. He owns several innovation patents which include patents in Electric Vehicles and Corona Virus Transmission Prevention System with the Australian and German Governments respectively. He has served as member of technical committee, reviewer, keynote speaker, consultant and chair for several international conferences and reports. He has several publications in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences.


He is currently pursuing MSE in Electrical Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of South Wales, UK. He has a Master of Philosophy in Power Systems Engineering at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in view. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the KNUST. He is a certified Project Manager by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
