Nikolaos is an investment professional specializing in energy systems and electrification trends, with experience spanning engineering, energy policy, and financial markets. He currently serves as a Global Equity Strategist within the Chief Investment Office of UBS Global Wealth Management, where he focuses on thematic research covering power, energy resources, and technological innovation, analysing how structural and technological developments shape global equity markets and capital allocation. His earlier experience includes infrastructure investments in private markets, energy policy and macroeconomic research, and engineering research on the techno-economic modelling of renewable energy power systems. He holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Energy Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, and an MSc in Management, Technology, and Economics from ETH Zürich.
