Odellia Matangi-Mangwengwende is an infrastructure development professional specialising in the structuring, financing, and delivery of infrastructure projects across Sub-Saharan Africa. She currently serves as Head of Development at a private energy development company based in Zimbabwe, where she leads the end-to-end development of renewable energy projects from origination through to financial close. With hands-on experience delivering projects in complex and capital-constrained markets, Odellia brings a practitioner’s perspective to the challenges and opportunities shaping Africa’s energy transition. Her work focuses on translating policy ambition into bankable projects by addressing risk, mobilising capital, and building commercially viable solutions. Odellia is deeply committed to sustainable development and is driven by the belief that well-structured infrastructure has the power to transform economies, strengthen businesses, and improve livelihoods across the region.
