Rebecca Fayad
Director of Energy and Natural Resources, Frontier Technologies Laboratory

Rebecca Fayad is a Chemical Engineer specialising in the energy transition, capital allocation, and frontier technologies across the global energy value chain. Having grown up in Dubai, London, and Lebanon, she developed an early understanding of energy instability and its economic impact, which shaped her professional journey. She has founded and exited her own companies and worked in a leading global Energy and Renewables M&A team, where she gained exposure to strategic transactions across power, infrastructure, and emerging energy technologies. Through her advisory and investor network, she has contributed to ventures and initiatives that have attracted over $200 million in investment and is currently facilitating more than $5 million in energy transactions. Rebecca serves as Director of Energy and Natural Resources at a cross-university frontier technologies laboratory that connects Harvard, MIT, Oxford, and Cambridge, supporting the commercialisation of advanced energy and resource innovations and working with governments and leading corporations. She has led communities of 50,000+ members and has spoken at Parliament and the World Economic Forum in Davos on the importance of accelerating the global energy transition.
