Yves Frederic Ndjoh is a Cameroonian energy innovator and entrepreneur, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Kinetic Power Systems LTD. With a background in Industrial Engineering, his work focuses on developing practical clean energy and infrastructure solutions addressing urban energy challenges in emerging economies. He is the inventor of the Electrical Energy-Generating Speed Breaker (EEGSB), an innovative system designed to convert vehicle kinetic energy into electricity for public infrastructure. Yves has gained international recognition through multiple global programmes and competitions. He was awarded 3rd Prize at the ISETS-ESCAP Global Competition in Bangkok and selected for the wAtt-boost – Youth Powered Start-Up programme led by Enel Foundation, RES4Africa, IRENA, and Strathmore University. He is also a Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneur, a participant in the Mastercard Foundation FAST Programme, an Aspire Leaders Program Alumnus, and an IUCN Young Changemaker. His work sits at the intersection of energy innovation, sustainable infrastructure, and climate-resilient urban development.
