Zhang Han

Engineer, State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) 

Zhang Han is a power systems consulting engineer at the State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC), focusing on the integration of renewable energy and smart technologies into the power grid. He has conducted significant policy research and coordinated the development of Beijing’s cross-regional green energy cooperation framework, aiming to improve the balance between renewable energy supply and demand.

In his role within regional power planning, he has been deeply involved in the 14th and 15th Five-Year Plans, specifically focusing on the optimisation of the UHV (Ultra-High Voltage) and EHV (Extra-High Voltage) networks for Beijing and the North China region. Currently, he provides technical consultancy for medium-to-long-term power development and the planning of energy demonstration zones, supporting the transition toward a sustainable, zero-carbon energy infrastructure.
