Director of Sales & Digital, UK & Ireland, Fluence

Ian is a dual Irish and American citizen, living in London and working as Director of Sales & Digital for Fluence Energy, a leading energy storage technology company. Ian grew up in Portland, Maine and went to Tufts University in Boston, where he studied Civil Engineering and Engineering Management, and volunteered with Engineers Without Borders. Ian then spent the first part of his career at Skanska as a project engineer and superintendent on heavy civil infrastructure projects in NYC and Boston, such as the World Trade Center. After Skanska, Ian decided to devote his career to the energy transition, and completed the MSc in Sustainable Energy Systems at the University of Edinburgh.
